Sun and Moon Gallery

My friend, Mauri, invited me to go to the opening tonight of an exhibit of photos taken mostly in the Great Trinity Forest, a 6200 acre hardwood forest, the largest in the nation. Just a few miles from downtown Dallas, there are pecans, oaks, walnut, ash, and more, plus a relatively undisturbed natural area that supports a vast wildlife population. It also provides habitat for migratory songbirds, and other birds, animals and butterflies. The photographers showcased were Jill Skupin Burkholder, Scot Miller and Dan Burkholder.
